En la noticia ESEa habla sobre el formato de divisiones y ascensos de algunas de sus ligas y podemos ver que :
For Season 27:
ESL Meisterschaft
There will be a new 10 team ESL Meisterschaft division created so the Open division shall become division 3 and the new division will become division 2. The winner of division 2 shall qualify directly to division 1, the winner of division 3 shall qualify directly to division 2. The second and third place teams in division 3 will play relegation matches against the 8th and 9th placed teams in the division 2 with the winners qualifying to the division 2 for the following season. The second and third place teams in division 2 will play relegation matches against the 8th and 9th placed teams in the division 1 with the winners qualifying to the division 1 for the following season. There shall be no online playoffs for division 1 and division 2. The final placements for division 3 shall be decided entirely by the online playoffs.
ESL Premiership
The bottom four teams from the ESL Premiership shall compete against the top 4 teams from the division 2 teams in a relegation tournament to qualify for the next season of the ESL Premiership.
ESL Championnat National
The top two teams from the ESL Championnat National division 2 will qualify directly to the ESL Championnat National.
ESL Mistrzostwa Polski
The winner of the ESL Mistrzostwa Polski division 2 will qualify directly to the ESL Mistrzostwa Polski League.
ESEA Russia, Turkey and Spain Open
Due to no National Championship in these regions in the first part of 2018 these divisions will qualify to the ESEA Intermediate and Main divisions as before.
The division 1 teams of each of these National Championships will be battling for their qualification to the MDL which is the exclusive path to the ESL Pro League.
For Season 28 the following teams will qualify for the EU MDL:
4 from ESEA Main division
1 from ESL UK (UK Premiership)
1 from ESL Poland (Mistrzostwa Polski)
1 from ESL Germany (Meisterschaft)

Como se aprecia no se habla España, no se si porque al tratarse de la ESL Masters la plaza de MDL no se anuncia o si realmente no va haber plaza. Si alguien tiene un poco de idea que lance luz sobre esto.
