Cloud9 and Tarik "tarik" Celik have gone their separate ways, the North American organisation have announced.
On Twitter and in a video posted on Youtube, Cloud9 thanked tarik for his time with the organisation but made no mention of the 22-year-old's destination.
The announcement comes amidst reports that tarik is heading to MIBR to join compatriot and ex-Cloud9 teammate Jake "Stewie2K" Yip, replacing Ricardo "boltz" Prass in the line-up.
tarik has been on Cloud9's books since August 2017, when he was signed from OpTic together with Will "RUSH" Wierzba
He departs the organisation roughly six months after leading the team to an unprecedented victory at the ELEAGUE Major, a run that saw him named the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the competition.
This leaves Cloud9 with a three-man active roster as Pujan "FNS" Mehta remains transfer listed by the organisation.
