HLTV.org has learned that Valve reached out to tournament organizers, seeking proposals for the second Major of 2018—that is set to be held in September.
Shortly after announcing the ELEAGUE 2018 Major, that will be held in Atlanta and Boston in January, Valve has decided to start their selection process for the second Major of 2018.
In a letter to tournament organizers, Valve announced that they are seeking proposals for the mid-2018 CS:GO Major Championship and revealed that they plan to select a proposal by the end of November. Contacted by HLTV.org, Valve confirmed that this information was correct.
