Mañana juego el campeonato nacional universitario de portugal. Juego contra Coimbra, Évora y Oporto (al menos si no pasamos de grupos) contra muchos tipos que juegan en la selección nacional. La putada es que vamos sin una primera línea real, con dos tipos de 86 kilos (es rugby 7) y el resto 3/4 de 70 y algo.

#335 Si es rugby 7 tampoco es necesario tener muchos gordos no? Vamos creo yo que premia más tener gente de peso en torno a los 80kg que corra mucho y sepa parar. Al fin y al cabo no hay casi mauls ni melees, es todo Pick&Go.

#336 Hombre no te hablo de un grandísimo, te hablo de un buen fortachón de +85 que funcionase de pilar en condiciones, y razón llevaba.
Acabo de volver. La cosa ha ido mejor que lo que esperaba, y eso que se presentaba mal. El polaco de 87 kilos que iba a jugar de pilar olvidó su DNI y no pudo jugar, así que hemos jugado solo con un grande y el resto todos 3/4.
Hemos jugado con gente que juega en 1ª portuguesa, algunos en la selección nacional, y la verdad se ha notado. Hemos ganado a Évora y perdido los otros dos, pero yo me voy contento. Me he inflado de placar a las piernas, tengo los hombros en agua ahora mismo. Hice dos carreras completas y varias asistencias finales.
Lo mio es la lucha, no rugby, aquí no tengo nivel para jugar un campeonato nacional pero mira, salió mejor de lo que esperaba y ha sido una experiencia bonita.

#342 La vila no estaba con problemas económicos de fichas y demás? Comentaron en mi club que al parecer el ayuntamiento ha retirado la subvención que les daba y ahora no podían pagar las fichas a muchos jugadores.
si, en navidades se les fueron la mayoría de los jugadores que tenían contratados, y después de eso, le pasó lo mismo a Gernika.
Es una verdadera putada, pero sin respaldo televisivo es un poco difícil mantener salarios y más tal y como están ahora los ayuntamientos y juntas de comunidades autónomas.
Esta madrugada a finalizado el Japan Seven, proclamándose Sudáfrica como campeona ante la poderosa Nueva Zelanda.

Cabe decir que los españoles ganaron en grupos a Portugal, pero perdiendo ante Fiji y la que a posterior a sido la campeona del torneo, Sudáfrica, lo que nos valió pasar la primera fase como terceros, pero después perdieron ante Argentina y más tarde ante Canadá, quedando así eliminada y posiblemente, en las últimas posiciones del ranking del torneo.
