Abro el post para ver si los users mas experimentados me pueden echar una mano para ocearlo ya que no tengo mucha ieea la verdad. Me he mlestado y he leido cosas por ahi, pero no me atrevo a hacer nada. Decir que tengo refrigeracion liquida y que la temp es mu baja asique no habria problema.
Espero que alguien me ayude para aprovechar el micro al maximo con la rl. Un saludito
Al estar ensamblado por alienware, esto es todo lo que te puedo decir, pero seguro se que es una micro atx xD.

#3 Vale, lo mas importante era saber el chip, que es p67.
Puesss, un 2400 poco le puedes hacer, no es un procesador para overclockear asi que solo puedes subir el blck (fsb) que de serie esta a 100, y como mucho podras a 106-107 si la placa es ultra buena y te deja y es estable... Pero vamos, que si puedes ponerlo a 107 estable sera un 107x31 = 3400mhz mas o menos, como que no te merece mucho xD
A mi me han dicho que la podía poner a 3.7, 3,8 sin problemas, teniendo la rl y demás. Y me lo han dicho en el soporte. Dime si me merece la pena.

If you've got a CPU with Turbo Boost functionality it can be overclocked!! The bad news is that it's pretty limited. Our Core i5 2400 is rated at 3.1GHz with a typical Turbo speed of 3.2GHz with four active cores, with an absolute maximum of 3.4GHz under a single core load. By changing the Turbo multipliers to the maximum allowed either in the BIOS or the Intel Extreme Tuning Utility and raising the power consumption limits to 135W we were able to get the Core i5 2400 to run at a solid and steady 3.6GHz with a full 4 core load. 2 and 3 core loads are allowed to run at 3.7GHz and under single core loads Turbo was allowed up to 3.8GHz. These are noticeable increases in speed and only added about 15w of additional power use. It was on default voltage as well.
