You are Pedro Sánchez. You are president of España. You have only 2 years to finish 3 important missions:
- Destroy Podemos party
- Get rid of terrible pandemy of COVID-19
- Get reelected
Be careful! Terrible spies from VOX will haunt you and make your life miserable. And you have to be wary of Pablo Iglesias, the leader of Podemos and vicepresident of España. He might kill you if he has an opportunity.
And so begins a long and difficult journey...
Introduce Iñigo Errejón to Pablo Iglesias.
Iñigo Errejón is a good friend of Pablo's and leader of Vox, a right-wing party.
You fly over the country with your Falcon 50 and you see an airship with the number VOX written on it.
You fly as fast as you can to attack it.
As you enter its hull, the ship starts collapsing.
You jump out of the Falcon to see if the other members of your party are alright.
Well, it seems like the other two made it out of the collapsing airship.
You parachute to land near the trio.
You see a mass of flaming wreckage below you, and a horrible stench permeates the air. Bodies and body parts are all around you.
You claim they died of COVID-19 and extend the curfew for another month in their honor.
Later, you meet up with the other two and travel to your headquarters where you sit down and have a nice drink (or five).
You say 'I think it's time for me to become a dictator'
The others are all for the idea, but you have to get rid of Iglesias first.
You call a meeting of all your most important allies and say 'I think we should form a new government. I have a name for it...'
What name do you give this new government?
Dictadura de Pedro 'El Guapo' Sánchez (PPP)
Monarcho-Socialo-Fascismo (MOSF)
España 2000 (EX2000)
Nacional-Monárquico (NMBN)
You decide that PPP is too similar to PODEMOS, and go with Nacional-Monárquico (NMBN).
The next day, you gather your most loyal friends for a meeting. 'We have to eliminate this Iglesias guy. If not, he could take power with his well-oiled majority machine. I've looked into his background and he has many followers. If we don't stop him, there will be a revolution.'
You explain your plan to the group. 'We'll call our party NMBN. It's National Monarquist Party. Like, Monarquia Nacional, or something. I will be the leader and we'll get all those extreme anti-Catalan parties together under one roof. We'll get some public sympathy by opposing Catalan independence. Then, once we have a majority, we'll establish a dictatorship and get rid of these pesky limitations. By then, we'll be so powerful, we won't even have to worry about some revolution. The people will love us. I know I will.'
The group nods, and you begin planning.
What is the name of the first law that you pass?
Fueros de Burgos (The laws of Burgos)
Ley de Toro (The law of the sword)
Código Penal (The criminal code)
Ley de Antiterrorismo (The anti-terrorism law)
What is the first thing you do as dictator?
You issue a decree where all drugs are legalized and become supporters of NMBN. You start a drug war with huge success, killing thousands of people.
You revoke all Catalan independence plans, claiming it's to preserve Spain's unity. This ends badly when many of the secessionists kill you and your allies in the streets.
You create the Spanish Intelligence Agency (AISINT), which gains huge popularity and soon becomes the most powerful organization in the country. You also start purges against the Catalonia secessionists. These are met with much protest, but eventually the rebellion is crushed.
What happens during the events of 15-10-15?
Barcelona is nuked in the middle of the night. This has massive consequences on the war, with the secessionists taking full advantage of it by capturing most of the Catalan coastline and many territories.
Iglesias is arrested. He is beaten severely before being executed in the street, which makes you both a national hero and greatly disliked.
The war ends in defeat, with most of the secessionists either dead or in prison. The remainder either surrender or flee to France. You're unsure of what to do next.
What is the second thing you do as dictator?
You announce a plan to send all Spanish citizens to a giant red, socialist country called Nuevo España. They will have one vote each to help rebuild the region. Many Catalans protest, but your plan is to encourage more people to move there and populate it. This will increase the number of votes for NMBN in the future.
The project is named 'La Conquista'.
What does the Catalonian government call the decision to abandon your plans for a new nation and join Nuevo España?
Catalunya Sells Out (COBSO)
Torna al País (Return to the country)
Marea Valenciana a Nuevo Estado Español (Valencian Tide to the new Spanish Empire)
Nacionalismo Catalán (Catalan Nationalism)
Catalunya Haga Estado (Catalonia to make a State)
Independentista (Independence movement)
Escisió (Resistance)
What is the third thing you do?
You continue to develop Nuevo España and it soon becomes the wealthiest and most powerful nation in South America. You also change the name to Estados Latinoamericanos del Nuevo Mundo (The Latin American States of the New World). You begin sending huge numbers of immigrants from Spain and they begin populating the Pacific coast.
Meanwhile, the Catalans launch a massive movement to become independent again. This is met with strong resistance and bloody fighting in the streets. You respond by creating a new internal security force called the Disciplinairy Mobile to quell the protests and uprising. They respond brutally, killing many. This greatly increases support for the independence cause and the fighting intensifies.
What is the fourth thing you do?
Catalonia declares its independence again, but only a few months later you launch a massive attack from Panama and capture the region. You then begin to rebuild the area as Nuevo Leon (The New Leon), and populate it with your loyal citizens from Spain. Many Catalans are furious about this act of aggression, and the fighting continues.
What is the fifth thing you do?
Nuevo Mexico is the next to declare its independence. The Californians are defiant, and the fighting continues.
What is the sixth thing you do?
You begin rebuilding a personal fortune again, but not quite to its previous levels. You continue to send massive numbers of citizens from Spain to Nuevo Mexico and you buy up huge areas of land in the US to support your population.
What is the seventh thing you do?
The fighting intensifies in the west as ongoing disputes over land, water and other resources cause the two nations to go to war with each other. The war is brutal, with both sides committing atrocities on a grand scale.
What is the eighth thing you do?
A small group of Catalans lead by Jose Antich find a mass grave of Disciplinairy Mobile members, with all their heads removed. This leads to an explosion of anger by the Catalans and more support for the independence cause.
What is the ninth thing you do?
As well as the ongoing dispute over land, water and other resources, there is also a religious dispute between the Catholics in Nuevo Mexico and the Protestants in California. This dispute is fuelled by the newspapers in both nations. You have a strong relationship with the Vatican and are given some encouragement to persecute Protestants and Catholics in California, which you do.
What is the tenth thing you do?
While you are persecuteing Protestants and Catholics in California, your forces massacre the entire male population of the town of Los Angeles, burning the town to the ground. This greatly increases support for the independence cause in California.
What is the eleventh thing you do?
You send an invasion fleet to California, landing troops on the shores of Los Angeles. The invasion goes well at first, with your troops taking the city in just two days.
What is the twelfth thing you do?
There is still one more decision to make. You could follow Washington's example and order the total genocide of the native population. This would greatly increase the size of your nation, as well as enriching you greatly due to the land and resources.
What is the thirteenth decision you make?
You order a total genocide of the Native American population. This leads to an angry protest by the citizens of California who have grown fond of the Indians working in their mines and on their farms.
What is the fourteenth thing you do?
Despite the protests, Nuevo Mexico continues to be ruthlessly exploited by you and your companies. The population continues to grow, with many companies founded or acquired by the government. The military is reformed into a powerful tool of oppression.
What is the fifteenth thing you do?
After a few years the Native American population is no more. The land now belongs to Spain, and it is up to you to settle it.
What is the sixteenth thing you do?
You continue expanding into Nuevo Mexico, taking large areas of it from the Indians and making many conquests. California is conquered soon after.
What is the seventeenth thing you do?
You attempt to make contact with the original thirteen states of the US, sending numerous messages and diplomats. Many of these messages and diplomats never reach their destination, as a small group of saboteurs plant false messages, bombs and other forms of sabotage along the entire route.
What is the eighteenth thing you do?
A war of words ensues, with the US accusing you of attempting to communicate with them using secret coded messages, and you accusing them of sabotage and attempts to communicate. This causes an international incident, and you are pressured to give up the spies you claim to have caught. You refuse, and the war of words intensifies.
What is the nineteenth thing you do?
As tensions rise, several anti-Spaniards are lynched in California. You order your troops to withdraw from the area and keep a stronger military presence elsewhere in the nation.
What is the twentieth thing you do?
In the United States, there are several pro-independence movements forming. You send several messages to each, reassuring them that you are keeping California and other parts of the nation independent. The people are grateful for this, as they don't trust the increasingly militant California.
What is the twenty first thing you do?
You secretly fund and support the formation of the 'California Republic Party'. The new party is fairly moderate, and is partially made up of those who supported you during the war. They promise to keep the nation of California independent and to continue funding and supporting the various anti-Spaniard movements forming.
What is the twenty second thing you do?
You send messages to several anti-Spaniard groups, offering your support and promising that independence will be won soon.
What is the twenty third thing you do?
You make several more trips into Nuevo Mexico, taking the slave population with you and selling them in California. This in turn increases the number of African slaves in California, with their numbers slowly growing.
What is the twenty fourth thing you do?
Several groups protest about the sale of Native American slaves. You ignore them, as the Blackfoot Tribe and the Plains Cree are pleased that you are using them as slave miners.
What is the twenty fifth thing you do?
The British announce that they will be sending an official to California. Many in California, and especially those that opposed you, rejoice at this news.
What is the twenty sixth thing you do?
Many of the enslaved Native Americans are unhappy. They were promised to be freed after the war, and instead they are used as slave miners. The Blackfoot Tribe and the Plains Cree are pleased that you are using them as slave miners, and protest about their status.
What is the twenty seventh thing you do?
The slave trade in Native American slaves is made illegal. This does not go over well with the Blackfoot Tribe and the Plains Cree, as they are used as slave miners.
What is the twenty eighth thing you do?
The war of words intensifies.
What is the twenty ninth thing you do?
The American Party, the California Republic Party and the John Browniana Party all form in response to the issues.
What is the twentieth first thing you do?
You launch an attack on Fort Nuevo Mexico, taking control of it and creating a base there.
What is the twenty second first thing you do?
You send messengers to various anti-Spaniard groups, asking for their support. You also promise them that California will be divided up between all the anti-Spaniard groups when you take power.
What is the twentieth second thing you do?
You launch a second attack on Fort Bodega. This time you take the fort, and once again create a base there.

What is the twentieth fourth thing you do?
You launch a series of raids on Nuevo Mexico. You take the towns of Cajon, Gila and Tubac.
What is the twentieth fifth thing you do?
You launch a second series of raids on Nuevo Mexico. You take the towns of Ancho, Casas, Naco and Sonora.
What is the twentieth sixth thing you do?
You begin planning the final assault on Nuevo Mexico.
What is the twentieth seventh thing you do?
You send a letter to various anti-Spaniard groups, offering your support and promising that independence will be won soon.
What is the twentieth eighth thing you do?
You launch a final attack on Nuevo Mexico. After three months of brutal fighting, you capture the city. You proclaim the independence of California.
What is the twentieth ninth thing you do?
You decree that all slaves in California be freed. You then offer pardons to those who may wish to take up arms again.
