Micro (Short term Tricks):
-Find a common player who isn't that good, but is really useful in hybrids. You can typically buy these players in bulk and list them with BIN's that are 200-300 coins higher and make profit through volume selling as impatient players will need that useful hybrid player and not care about 300 coins
-Sell Mid-day: Prices peak around 2-5 US Time because all of Europe is on, as is North America, this is a great time to sell. (prices will only be minimally higher)
-List High BIN's at night on expensive players: Only works on expensive players as there is less supply, but at night very few are listed. Yours may be 20k more expensive than the one that expires in 45 minutes, but people will buy them when they get impatient (factor in 5% tax)
-At the start of the game, invest in players who suit the new style (Too late for Fifa 15). At the start of the game which is typically when prices are the highest they'll ever be, some players are undervalued. Last game was all about strength, and heading, so this game pacey dribblers started out undervalued (Eg. you could BIN Remy's for 12k early on, going for 22K now, would have made a killing if you had coin to invest)
Macro Factors (Over Long time periods) This is where you really make your money, selling all players, and spending all your coins at the right time. Last year I had 400K from trading when legends hit, I sold all my players anticipating a crash, and bought when the legends came out and the market crashed, and made 250K. You can use this same method around TOTY, and TOTS releases, as well as one offs like WC last year.
Dont own any expensive players on December first because prices will start sliding before TOTY release in late December and be half the value. If you sell everything and have 500K you will buy the players for 300K, invest the additional 200K in more players and two weeks later have 900L when prices rise again, you can repeat this with TOTS and easily reach over 1 Million.
Hopefully these tricks work for you and help you out. Also, I really recommend putting 20-60 bucks into packs on the first day. Price are astronomical compared to end game, and it gives you some capital to start making money with. If you're anything like me you're going to play hundreds of games and play this all year. It's worth investing the value of a game into the game to have a ton more coins. To use the Remy example again, he's 22K right now, and by the end of the game will be selling for 3K. Navigate the market crashes properly and you'll have a ton of coins at the end.
TOTY = Team of The Year
TOTS = Team of the Season
WC = World Cup
Every year, EA releases TOTY cards and TOTS cards. TOTS cards are released by league and are given to players that have played the best during the season. They usually run from April - June.
TOTY cards are voted on by FIFAPro and it is one singular squad, consisting of the best players in the world per position.
WC here refers to the World Cup mode that EA released for the world cup this year, and OP is probably referring to the huge market crash where everyone's prices went waaaaayyyy down for like a month because everyone was selling their players to get coins to play the World Cup mode. There won't be anything like it again until the next world cup.. Probably.
