As envisaged, Phil Harrison organized a conference to speak about PlayStation 3 front the developers and the journalists present at Game Developers Conference in San Jose in the United States. Here a small summary of the event.
Phil Harrison began his speech by giving some figures, Sony would thus hold 60% of the shares of market in the industry of the video game with 100 million PlayStation 2 and 1 billion sold plays (for approximately 6000 plays available).

a video of the play Warhawk on PlayStation 3 was diffused with a hundred soldiers who evolve/move simultaneously on the screen, and very beautiful returned landscapes (ocean, clouds, etc). Warhawk should be playable at the time of E3 2006.
a demonstration of MotorStorm in real time was diffused, followed of a presentation of the person in charge for the project Scott Kirkland. The play could be playable at the time of E3 2006.
Ted Price de Insomniac Games presented a technical demonstration which refers to Ratchet and Clank, the person in charge also announced that I-8 was famous in Resistance: Fall of Man
Thanks to its space of raised storage, Blu-ray technology will make it possible to the editors to propose their plays translated into several languages on only one disc for all the markets of the world, while thus avoiding leaving several versions the same play.
