I promised you guys that I will someday write a post about worlds and all the squad there.Now its the opportunity since I got the championship with Aris FC in Serie B' at football manager and at overwatch I'm bored to abuse roadhog for SR (Don't know what he means there I dont play overwatch).
First of all after spring playoffs I was really down because our bot lane did one of its best game ever and Jankos & Ryu was going through a time of underperforming that made us not only loose those series but also the ones with Origen, especially after the last teamfight in game 5 with missplays one after the other from Ryu,Jankos and Oddoamne, it was really sad to watch it from replays and after 50 times I still couldn't believe it. After those games we all knew that this roster would be the last time that we played together.At this point let me say that when I joined H2K, I was the one that made the moves to take Jankos and Vander with me,noone else.
After all that a mistake happened that everybody would do given the fact Origen had 70 points for worlds but I couldn't expect that our support would turn the team upside down and destroy it. There I already had decided I would stop playing for LCS and I would just play to keep in touch with the game from small Greece, but H2K came out of nowhere.Their team wasn't in sync with the new ADC they ascquired (which isn't exactly his fault, but every team I played with always had major problems after I left them , because all the strategy in every team I played was starting from me ) and he couldn't play with his hand problems.I remember when I was in a tour and specifically at Inspot Alexandroupolis ( a net cafe) at 3 AM that we start speaking again for my return.Finally with my tooth in pain I manage to reach Berlin couple hours before our games of the 9th week and we went 5-0 (without practise ) .Instead of being relagated something that was a possibility back then, somehow we made the absolute best and we took 4th place. A very serious part of our success (22 wins and 5 looses or something ) was that both sides respected each other and for me personally when I was noticing something bad I was just turning on the other side and kept my mouth shut.
In playoffs we just swept Fnatic and then we got a devasted loss from Splyce.Main reason was that Odo showed a huge ego in pick and ban with gnar , and what I mean is that he didn't want to pick the hero because he scared of a counter pick but also he didn't have a counter pick himself (!!!) , in 4th game Jankos tilted his life out and we were basically playing without jungle in the last game and not only that he almost ruined and demolished the team not only in the games but after that and I will explain why .Eventually we loose 3-2 and we have the last bo5 with UOL ahead of us after 10 days.We went to Poland without practise (!!!) because of Jankos and we win 3-1 and we finally win the spot to worlds and everything else is forgotten.
Korea is a really good country and I would say someday in your lifes you want to go a trip there its the best destination.Litearally a whole new world.The league of legends part went really good there so I skip it.
At worlds everyone in first week was sick except me and Jankos and their performance fell a lot (I also had for a example my only bad game at worlds against AHQ) . It also happend the facecheck with Vander so we lost that game too.Second week we go 4-0 were we win EDG twice with deft crying at bot lane and choking to infinity so there was a huge gap between him and me (and what I mean by that is he skipped tear in every matchup and he was getting muramana at 35 minutes )Finally we went 1 lane even and 1 that we bodied them bot lane,in fact the only time we played 2vs2 we raped them and I enjoyed it so match that everytime I was going to the bathroom they were sending their jungler to camp me (LMFAO I LOVE Forg1ven).After that we swept 3-0 ANX which was a huge success for them because they made top 8. And then we play SSG which was the best team for us to look them in the eyes and maybe win but the curse of semifinals hit us again. Ryu choked full vs Crown and Odo top lane had a huge trouble vs Cuvee.I think Jankos played good and his image was improved a lot with his champ that he was playing (OLAF) and how we set him up as a team .Bot lane we were playing loosing matchups and we manage to win 2 out of 3 and we went even in the last one,that after summer split this was our job.To play scaling supports bot lane or at worse case scenario to loose lane slightly , but we never were the weak side of our team.I somehow ended up playing sivir all three games because there wasn't a better pick and this is really sad (ashe, jhin, cait were banned) .There is litearlly not a better pick and its sad because I played the most boring champion in adc position at worlds semis.And like this an other chapter had ended.I think sometime this should have happend because it would be a really bad thing for me not to play in a world championship after all my time giving to adc role and specificlly 2012 and after.
From there fastforward to offseason I decided that I didn't want to play at LCS (he says he didnt want to play for bottom teams and he makes a joke with 2 really bad teams from greek football) .H2k though told me they wanted me back but they also wanted the asshole (MALAKAS in greek) for mid lane and the drunken jungler, so there was no way I would play with all them together again, I wouldn't sacrifice my mental health for the kindergarten there,I was done with doing other people job.
Overall I think H2K will finish split under top 3 and whatever team they make they will always be compared to this one of 2016.I hope things work out for them and do well.
Unfortunately when people had the best teamates possible I was fighting with a roster of top 5 top 6 and we were finishing first regural split and 3rd playoffs.So whatever I say it maybe too much for someone, but wherever there is black there is also white.( not sure how to transalte that propertly so there you ) I was always helping my team through my selfishness because I always belived in me but I never got ahead of myself and ditch the team spirit.
