Misfits se hace con una plaza en la EU CS para tener jugando a un nivel decente a su equipo B, parece que no tienen reparos en invertir fuerte en el League of Legends.
Pending final Riot approvals, Hollywood Esports reports that Misfits have acquired the EU CS spot formerly held by Inspire Esports (the spot was rented by Epsilon last split). As a result, Misfits will not have to participate in the Challenger Series Qualifiers (CSQ) and will have a spot in the 2017 Spring Challenger Series (CS). The new team will be known as Misfits Academy in order to reflect the team’s efforts to cultivate and develop new talent. The team has yet to release its roster.
The 2017 Season Challenger Series will be the fourth season of the European League of Legends Challenger Series (EU CS). Six teams will compete in a group stage before moving on to playoffs for a chance to qualify for the League Championship Series (LCS) via the promotional tournament.

We believe that by having a CS team playing at a high professional and organized level will improve our orgs longevity, while at the same time providing an opportunity for our CS roster to grow individually and as a team. It also allows us to have active subs for our LCS team should an emergency situation ever arise. The challenger scene is largely underappreciated as a tool for growth and development of young players careers; as an org who have come from challenger roots it seems almost natural to delve into the scene again with our new CS team.”[/quote]
