"I would like to start off by saying that I realize Trion has to prioritize dealing with the issues that have been plaguing head-start, but I have seen no attempts to address concerns brought up on the forums over the Gilda Star exploits that were used in order to allow many people to put down multiple houses (way more than should be allowed). These people were able to bypass those of us that were stuck dealing with technical issues with the game, who were blocked by guilds hoarding quest givers and objectives, and using this exploited Gilda they were able to put down 10-20 houses or more just on one character to sell for gold later on. Secondly, they were placed in such a manner that there was a livid waste of much needed space that could at least accommodate more small farms. There has been advertisements from these people offering to build to suit whatever you want there for anywhere from 500-2000 gold at the very least if not more. One such post in the forums got a congratulatory comment of how this is great entrepreneurial spirit, really? Is this how Trion intended the game to be, and openly condone actions achieved by exploitation? The economies on these head-start servers are now ruined for quite some time if not indefinitely. These 'mobster or gangster' style guilds which are massive have choked out all of the game play that many of us came to enjoy in BETA. Due to the Gilda exploit within hours of the launch of head-start guilds had Galleons and some of the MOST expensive Gilda purchased items in the game giving them a DOMINATING advantage over everyone else. Want to do some sea exploration, fishing, or trade runs now? Forget it, unless you want to be annihilated within seconds. We are talking about guilds who surround quest givers and objectives so that only their guild mates can do them before anyone else. These ddos attacks are likely members of these same type of guilds that are keeping others from progressing in game until they can get all their members on to exploit it first, and that is the mere frosting on the cake on a long list of game killing tactics.
I do understand the dynamics of the game (PvP, Pirating, Social Co-op, etc.). However, the exploits that have been used in head-start have catastrophically crippled Archeage, forced many players to seek refunds or charge backs for game purchases, and the worst part of it is that there is no one stepping up to admit any fault or say anything is wrong and being looked into. The use of exploits in the game SHOULD lead to banning of accounts, but not one single instance of what is going on has been dealt with openly. Now without a server reset these servers are messed up and unbalanced. With all that being said, when launch occurs and new servers are opened if any, has Trion put measures into place to prevent the Gilda exploitation or will those servers become as unbalanced and as un-enjoyable as the current ones?"
