No tiene sentido alguno el movimiento a no ser que vayan a abrir servers nuevos oficiales, el juego ya de por sí estaba muerto en su versión de PC.
Los que si tienen algo de población son las versiones de RO mobile, pero es que son otro juego distinto.

I am stepping down from my staff position here at Origins, effective immediately. As a consequence of this, the server will be taken offline for a little while, but don't worry: all your data is safe and the game we all love will be back online shortly, under a new lead and most likely a new server name with a brand new website.
This is a difficult announcement, and I apologize it came at a difficult time like this. In fact, it's been boiling up for a while, and I was waiting for a little push to take my leave. There are no better words to express how I feel, and how I've been feeling for the past few years, than an old wise person's words, I feel all thin, sort of stretched, if you know what I mean: like butter that has been scraped over too much bread. The recent situation gave me this last little push as well as the confidence to decide that it can't be right. I need a change, or something, before I burn out completely.
Details on the server transfer will be made available in the next days by the new administration or by one of the GMs, but rest assured: it'll be the same game we all love, with all the features we all love and all of the things we worked hard to obtain in the game. The new administration agreed that there won't be any major changes in the game and that it'll never become a pay 2 win server and it'll never make money behind your backs. It'll still be, as it always has, for the sake of having a place to play this game the way we all wished it would stay even after its official publishers dropped it or transformed it into something else.
Thank you for accompanying me on this journey so far. We may meet again from time to time in the game, but I'll just be a regular player. Until then, good bye.
Origins will just change its name and admin (a friend of Haru’s that is also part of Origins) as Haru wants to transition into being simply another player. The server will continue to operate as usual with the exact same philosophy, and therefore continues to be the best choice.

#3098 Si es cierto la verdad no me extraña. Hay un MEGA por ahi rulando con los supuestos documentos que Gravity presentaba y daban entre risa y pena. Cuatro imagenes indicando el uso del logo de Ragnarok Online y otro par con carpetas de la musica del juego. Que tampoco me extraña contando que si no hay nada hosteado en web o en el lado de los admins no pueden agarrarse a nada al recaer la responsabilidad en un 3rd que es el usuario y es lo que hacen casi todos los servers privados / emulados de otros juegos donde te dicen que te busques la vida para conseguir los archivos.
Lo dicho estan intentando asustar y si cuela cuela
#3099 A ver, hace tiempo que muchos servidores están creandote un cliente que al final es el kro + sus assets en un popurrí, el legado del "buscate el kro y ten mis archivos para estamparlos encenima de la otra carpeta pasó hace tiempo xdd)
Por tema servidor no tienen ningún problema (quitando los servidores que si se montaron con el server oficial que se filtró), los hercules/rathena/eathena son 100% custom
Edit: y sobre tema "donaciones", si que les pueden meter una multa economica, por que suelen ser "para mantener el server", pero al final reciben mas de lo que necesitan ergo están lucrandose con ello
Edit2: y las leyes en EEUU no me las se, pero creo que si blizzard ha podido cargarse servidores, no veo por que no puede hacerlo gravity
#3107 Lo entiendo totalmente, es un oficial... A mi me viene bien, yo también por mi trabajo tengo el tiempo justo pero la verdad que lo estoy disfrutando.
Siempre ha sido un juego que le he tenido ganas (en mi época me decanté por el Lineage 2) y siempre he tenido el gusanillo de jugar/enteder el juego y bueno, me he lanzado a la aventura y de momento, 10/10!

Yo me estoy subiendo un Stalker en el EUprime por probar "renewall" o lo que sea que sea este server ,ya que Origins aun sigue chapado.
Me lo estoy tomando con calma porque no pretendo tryhardear en este server sino experimentar un poco con las 3rd class (en mi caso ShadowChaser) o las instancias/nightmare de renewall y esas cosillas, se que hay servers mejores para esto pero bueno digamos que no me gusta los mid-high rates.

Lleva ya abierto 1 año y algún que otro mes , la cash shop tira un poco para atrás pero como lo estoy jugando sin preocupaciones y full pve pues bueno ya tú sabes ajaja aparte que un streamers que consumía que ya no juega ro ni lo stremea jugaba aquí y digo por si acaso vuelve ya tengo un pj con el que jugar.
