Transcribo lo que dice la señora, porque creo que algunos no os habéis enterado de lo que dice. Obviamente el asunto no va de si somos unos atrapados en la AH o si hacemos mil dailies, si no que de lo siguiente. Espero que nadie necesite traducción:
When you think about what people do when they are in World of Warcraft, you think about what the teenagers are doing in World of Warcraft, they are building virtual teams, worldwide virtual teams, very sophisticated teams with very sophisticated skill level in a very complex teaming enviroment. Then what they do with their virtual team is they build virtual strategies that then they go and execute on.
When you think about it and you forget the very last step, which is go and kill some as a team, that's exactly what we try to do when we work with our colleagues (?) in China. And so, having this experience, being familiar with this 3D environment, in this case of World of Warcraft, in fact makes it more natural to them come to a business environment and say: "Oh, I know how to team virtually. I can do this, I've done it before".
Pregunta: "So can a kid watching our show now go to their parents and say "IBM says World of Warcraft will help me get a job there some day"?
I think it could and I think that would actually probably be correct. You know, we don't quite ask especifically about it in our resumés yet, but it's definitely a skill that is valuable.
