No sé si lo habreis leido, pero en Junio creo que es, comenzará un evento para los jugadores (Del Battlepass) que tiene premios, copa etc en sus propias divisiones con su respectivo equipo.

Clearcut Challenge

Okay, so Vulkan is a new and an in-development API.
But what is an API? The API is basically the software equivalent of a translator for your graphics card (GPU). It basically tells your GPU what parts of it must render what parts of the game (this is by all means not everything but i try to be comprehensible) and the better the API, the better it uses your GPUs ressources and potentially makes your game faster. Some examples are DirectX and OpenGL and now theres this new one Vulkan.
As to how to install it, you need to download your latest driver for nvidia or AMD GPUs (just google "latest AMD driver" or look into your system settingd and you should find something). Then you go into steam, right click the Dota 2 application in your library and select properties. There should be a tab "set launch options". Open it and type into the text field: "-vulkan" (without ""), also delete other API launch options like "-dx11" etc, otherwise you are almost good.
Lastly we go into the steam library again and on Dota 2. There should be a list with DLCs. Select "Dota 2 vulkan support" (not sure what exactly it says but this should be a good description) and tick the checkbox next to it. Then it will download the Vulkan API and after that you will just have to launch Dota 2 and see the difference for yourself.
If you dont like it, delete -vulkan in launch options and the game will start normally as of before.

The first time you run with Vulkan you may experience short stutters while the engine caches shaders on disk. After playing through or watching a match, these stutters should go away.
There is a known issue on Linux with NVIDIA GPUs where tearing can be observed even when vertical sync is enabled. NVIDIA is aware of the issue and it will be fixed in the future through a driver update.

#15374 Yo no tenia ni guarra de que era, pero cotillee por Reddit y decian que la gente con pc buenos no notaba la diferencia y la que tenia regulares pues que les iba un poco mas fluido, asi que deduci eso
#15374 es que de Nvidia para jugar lo mínimo es una gtx y50 lo que me sorprende es que la serie 600 sea compatible El que se compre una dedicada para jugar que no sea una gtx simplemente estará tirando el dinero

#15374 pues mi querida Toshiba satellite L750 con su intel pentium inside y su nvidea 520m te dicen algo de una pc peor? si el 50% del tiempo el juego se me freezea, aunque el ping está bien, es el hardware que no lo aguanta incluso con todo al minimo, esto es amor por el Dota, no veo a mucha gente jugando lo que yo juego jaja si se ve como el WC3 casi casi XD
Creo que no entendiste mi comentario, me referia a que si necesitava minimo una gtx 600, donde coño esta lo de un pc peor? disfruta de vulkan compañero
#15378 yo tengo un ordenador de también unos 400-450€ portátil de ofimática que va a cumplir sus 4 añitos conmigo y lo tengo todo al mínimo también (no lo he probado con la cosa esa nueva). Es un verdadero desastre jugar al dota así, no hay partida en la que no haya situaciones en las que se me pare (pero parones gordos, de que empieza una teamfight y cuando quiero blinkear o algo ya hay muertos 3 de mi equipo) y estoy a ver si me compro una cosa en condiciones... pero sé lo que sientes, compañero haha

#15374 Hombre, la serie de gráficas 600 tiene ya 3 años, y se supone que funciona con cualquiera de esas serie, incluso con una 640 de 50€ así que muy bueno no puede ser ese PC
#15384 Por desgracia hace 2 meses que no entro al Doto por lo que no os tengo tan controlados, pero siendo francos ahora mismo en cuanto a equipos españoles la cosa anda algo flojilla. A poco que se cumpla aquello de "el que tubo retuvo" son serios aspirantes a ganar el torneo.
A ver si hay sorpresas.
La verdad es que la pagina del torneo es un desastre.
