Llega el mes gordo del año con el inicio de la carrera hacia Navidades copado por docenas de juegos intentando hacerse hueco entre algunos de los lanzamientos más sonados de los últimos tiempos.
Las protagonistas de octubre son las grandes secuelas, encabezadas por Red Dead Redemption 2, el primer juego de Rockstar en cinco años. Los que no gusten del Salvaje Oeste o tengan que conformarse con la mostaza, pueden tener su ración de AAA con varias sagas que prometen su mejor entrega en años: Forza Horizon 4, Assassin's Creed Odyssey, Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 y Soulcalibur VI.
Restando una A, lo más destacado es Call of Chtulhu, que apunta maneras en sus últimos tráilers con una perfecta ambientación lovecraftiana. Además, Starlink, Mega Man 11 o Space Hulk: Tactics pueden convertirse en los tapados de estas semanas.
Ya en el campo indie, hay varios títulos fascinantes que llegan sin mucho bombo. Entre ellos The Hex, del creador del fantástico Pony Island, The Occupation, Achtung! Cthulhu Tactics o Lethal League Blaze.
Para Switch, tenemos otro mes flojo con el refrito de The World Ends With You como gran «novedad». Solo se salva para los que tengan amigos en la vida real, que por lo menos, pueden contentarse con juegos perfectos para Switch™ como Super Mario Party, Windjammers, Tricky Towers o Hasbro Game Night, que incluye Monopoly, Risk y Trivial Pursuit.
