Jungler Alberto "Crumbz" Rengifo announced Wednesday on Twitter that he is retiring from professional League of Legends play.
Crumbz has been on the professional scene since 2011, getting his big break with Curse Gaming and making a name for himself as one of North America's top junglers.
He was replaced on the team by Saintvicious in 2012, subsequently joining Team Dignitas and staying with the team for over three years. In 2014, he gained a reputation as an excellent analyst as he was able to predict several underdog wins at Worlds that year, including the victory of Samsung White taking first at the tournament.
Later that year, rumours surfaced that Crumbz was retiring after his contract with Dignitas ended, but he instead resigned with the team until February 2015. Once he left Dignitas, he formed his own challenger team called Misfits, who later that year renamed to Renegades.
Renegades went on to win the 2015 NA CS Summer Playoffs after placing second overall in the NA CS Summer Season.
