G2 renuncia a participar en la IEM Gyeonggi

G2 acaba de hacer público que no acudirá a la próxima IEM que se celebrará en Corea, después de la decepción de los Worlds había ganas de ver cómo había evolucionado el equipo y este anuncio podría decepcionar a más de un aficionado al equipo.

G2 today announces that its League of Legends team will unfortunately not be participating at IEM Gyeonggi, which is due to take place from December 16th-18th. Upon the conclusion of the World Championship, G2’s management and the team sat down to discuss the plans for the future. With the 2017 EU LCS Spring Split just around the corner, it was decided that attending an event this soon would be detrimental to the growth process that the League of Legends section is undergoing.

We would like to apologise to the fans who were eager to watch our team in action one more time before the end of the year. While we understand that the international experience could be beneficial to the players, we believe that, since our focus is on preparing for the upcoming Spring Split, the team would not be able to perform at a level that would reflect their potential or the benefits that will result from the structural improvements that are in place.

Over the coming weeks, we will lift the lid on the improved infrastructure that will support our League of Legends roster in 2017. After reaching an agreement for the team’s renewal, the path we have set out for ourselves is clear: we want to defend our EU LCS titles and make our mark at an international level.

Perfectamente legítimo que no vayan, pero una pena para los seguidores, e incluso resto de jugadores, que por los estudios de uno de los ellos no pueda ir el resto del roster con algún sustituto.

Espero que no coja la gripe en el Split ;D

lo de perkz es indiferente yo iría solo para lavar la imagen aunque fuera con un sub que seguro que algún jugador si se lo pides no le importa c9 ya lo hizo en su día con link

Mira que me parece mal esto, ya lo he comentado en el post del mercado de fichajes, pero solo viendo algunas respuestas estoy hasta cambiando de opinión.

Pero nada, mejor decimos que el jugador casualmente al que mas hateamos se está sacando el bachillerato y por eso un equipo entero no va a un torneo y pierde la posibilidad de ganarlo o de ganar un buen premio monetario.

#12 y perkz lleva un año fuera e igual tiene que hacer los exámenes para sacarse el curso es que madre que critiquéis que son niñatos y ahora que el chaval se quiere poner con los estudios que son algo importante lo pongáis a parir, yo me quejo de g2 por no ir ya que debería imo pero lo que hace perkz lo veo super respetable

Está claro que no van porque van a dar vergüenza como en todos los eventos internacionales que han ido, lo de perkz me ha parecido gracioso por el mensaje de Ocelote.

Pero vamos a ver Perkz no dijo el otro día en su twitter que ya había acabado todos los examenes y que ahora iba a centrarse en mejorar y a hacer streams?? No entiendo nada.
