This is from a journalist's impressions from playing Doom on the Switch at a recent Bethesda event for their VR games in London, here are some bullet points:
* Only permitted to test out Doom for Switch in undocked mode for a few minutes.
* Gameplay, enemy count, and level design in campaign seems identical to the other versions.
* seems to be stable 60fps, no dips seen at any point.
* Obvious graphical sacrifices to maintain framerate and features (textures and possibly resolution), noticeable in handheld mode, still does not look too bad.

Even on Switch, DOOM is an overwhelming, fun, and, most importantly, damn fluid. The id Software frenzy has not diminished on the hybrid console of Nintendo and although it was clearly made of sacrifices from a graphical point of view, the port seemed more than worthwhile during our short London test. We will see if the full version will improve further.
